Job Title: Service Delivery Manager (SDM) Fibre Optics
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Our SDMs are professional technical services managers responsible for co-coordinating the end to end delivery of services from sales to revenue collection to customers. The SDM shall have profit and loss responsibility for the assigned service line.
The SDM plays a vital role in creating long-term healthy service provider through stakeholder management (internal and external), understanding and executing customer requirements towards delivery project documents and products and ensure timely revenue connection. The key responsibility of the SDM is governance across all areas of their services including pre sales and solution development, service management, incident management, continual service improvement and customer satisfaction as well as project management. He is responsible for logistics, Quality checks, technical and commercial acceptance of all projects. He is also responsible for maintaining the relationship with all clients’ project stakeholders (procurement, regional Managers, project Managers etc)
The Service Delivery Manager will lead, manage and monitor the teams, resolve problems from our customers and executeprojects to satisfy all customers’stakeholders’ requirements. They will be required to, manage workloads and prioritize work across the execution teams as well as develop the service delivery organization within Company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidate Profile
• Track record in management of teams and personnel
• Have worked in a multi customer environment
• Have working knowledge of (as many as possible ) FOC survey, design , implementation and maintenance
• Demonstrable track record in delivering FOC projects in a fast paced business environment. Highly analytical in problem solving with the ability to apply original and innovative thinking
• Project management experience in the telecoms industry (Rollout and network operations) is an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience is required
Skills
.
• High level of commercial awareness, good understanding of project accounting and budgetary control processes.
• Competence in Technical solution development , tendering documentation and implementation resourcing
• Expert level skill in stakeholders management, Client Relationship Management skills
• A high level of oral and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with senior managers, colleagues and other stakeholders
• Quality orientation and management
• Experience applying the PMI or PRINCE II methodology to real time projects.
• Project Monitoring & Control; A project record management skill is a MUST.
• Working under pressure and think clearly in challenging situations in a logical manner
• Flexibility in approach and be comfortable with a fluid organisational structure that requires both team work and self sufficiency as necessary, with the ability to work under minimal supervision
• Ability to research subjects, with a commitment to provide continuous improvement
